Taking a Break From 5 Minutes for Special Needs

Sunday, September 18, 2011

In case you were looking for my Sunday afternoon posts, I decided to take a little break from posting over at 5 Minutes for Special Needs. You can still read my old posts and I will likely be resuming posting in a couple of months. I felt that I should be looking forward to posting, but I was beginning to dread it, mostly due to the time commitment, the fact that I felt I was running out of things to say, and the fact that I received very few comments on my posts, making me feel that they weren't really resonating with anyone outside of my family and friends.

The other reason I decided to take a break is because I have decided to become my older daughter, Sweet Pea's head coach in hockey. The time commitment this weekend alone is pretty big, and the first month or so will be very busy as I take a coaching course, get the team set up, enroll for tournaments, etc.

So thanks to all of you who emailed or me or told me that you enjoyed my posts at 5 Minutes. Once I start posting on my own blog more, I'll share a bit more about Precious' disability here as things come up at school or at home.
